Journalists in Pakistan organized a protest in front of the Peshawar Press Club to denounce the confiscation of a TV camera from a journalist in Karachi, September 11, 2013.
They claim that a fellow journalist's camera was snatched by a political worker while he was reporting the day before.
They journalists shouted slogans against the Sindh government and demanded protection.
The president of the Peshawar Press Club, Nasir Hussain, addressed the reporters and condemned the act. Hussain reinforced that it is the job of journalists to report on events.
Ex president of the Khyber union of journalist Arshad Aziz Malik and president of the Video journalist Association Inam khan also address to journalists who’s participated in the protest. The journalist community has demanded from Sindh government that who’s involved in snatching the camera to arrest him and protect the journalist community all over in Pakistan.
