Protesters took the streets of Brisbane's CBD on March, 19, 2015, to condemn the forced closure of remote Aboriginal communities in Western Australia.
Protesters blocked peak hour traffic, carried signs and shouted slogans as a part of a national day of action, with protests in a number of capital cities.
Activist Bogain Spearim said at the rally: "We need to do this more often, it's only us that can get us out if the position we are in right now. The only way we can get freedom is if we take it."
