Thousands gathered to
commemorate the 41th anniversary of the 1976 coup, along Mayo Avenue in
Buenos Aires on March 24, 2017. About 30,000 people went missing after
being arrested during the right-wing military regime that ruled
Argentina from 1976 to 1983, according to Human Rights organizations.
Many of those abducted were accused of being leftist sympathizers or
deemed subversive by the regime.
