With Hurricane Irma churning west, many Florida residents are taking precaution and stocking up on supplies as seen in Melbourne on September 6, 2017. Most of the big box stores have sold out of plywood water and other basic supplies. Emergency officials recommend people have one gallon of water per person, per day for at least five days in the event of a hurricane. Several Home Depots across the Tampa Bay area were also out of generators.
