Florida: NASA unveils Interim Cryogenic Propulion Stage

The Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS), the first element of NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket to arrive at the Agency's Kennedy Space Center in Titusville, Florida is unveiled on August 11, 2017. It was transported from the United Launch Alliance (UAL) facility at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, where it went through final testing and checkout following its arrival. This segment will be stored here in the Space Station Processing Facility (SSPF) until it is moved in about a year to the  Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) for stacking on the SLS.
