Canada: Nor'easter Stella batters Lake Ontario area with snow

Winter storm Stella hits the shores of Lake Ontario in St. Catharines on March 14, 2017. Ontario, from Peterborough to Ottawa, will be near the northwestern edge of a “snow shield” caused by a low-pressure system sailing towards New England from the coast of North Carolina, according to Environment Canada.
